Friday 24th September  – Sunday 26th September 2021

2pm Friday – 5.30pm (Approx) Sunday

Leaving Friday arvo, travelling together for a weekend of waves and good times! We will depart at around 2pm and hit the road for the Yorke Peninsula. With approximately 4 hours of driving and getting to know each other including a stop at the pub for dinner (*own expense) when we arrive. And once we get to our accommodation, we chill for the rest of the evening. After getting a good nights sleep, we head straight out to the waves on the pristine beaches of the lower Yorke Peninsula. In true surfer girl style – the accommodation will be shared bunk style rooms so we can really get to know each other.

Agendas will be very flexible over the 2 days but we aim to have up to 6 hours of surfing – taking you to the best most suitable surf on hand. With the boot type shape of the region there are waves to be had in every type of surf and wind direction making it one of the best spots for surfing in the country, and our experienced instructors will choose the best location for us on the day.

Breakfasts and lunches are all included and where possible, an all hands on deck approach would be appreciated. Consisting of 2 x light breakfasts, 2 lunches of Ham/Chicken salad rolls/wraps and a slice of cake. Both evening’s dinner will be at the local pub at own cost. Tea and Coffee provided. (Please ensure you get your waiver to us ASAP if you have any special dietary requirements – we will do our best to cater to them.)

We plan to wrap up at around lunch time on the Sunday before packing our gear and heading back to Adelaide that afternoon/evening, for an approximate arrival of 5.30pm. If you have a strict schedule, please advise your Mucha Host so we can ensure you get back when you need to.

An amazing opportunity to improve your surfing in a beautiful setting with like minded people. Great waves, chilled friends and good times are what surfing is all about and this is the perfect weekend adventure to get your fix of it all!!

What to bring

You’ll need bathers, snacks, sunscreen, sunnies, hats, comfortable walking shoes etc – everything you might need on a beach weekend away.

Something comfy to sleep in and thongs. Note we don’t have en-suites, so a night time trip to the loo needs to be considered. Uggies are usually appreciated if its going to be cold!

Don’t forget to pack something warm for the evening and a rain jacket in case of showers.

You will also need your own sleeping bag and pillowcase (pillows provided) and towels for the beach and the shower as well.

Backpack for carrying lunch and drinks. Drink bottle and a lunch box. Some snacks and any medication you need.

**NOTE: We have limited luggage capacity – please ensure your luggage is kept to ‘Airport Carry On’ size, so we don’t have to leave it behind! And, if possible, in a soft sided bag,

Boards, wetsuits and rashies will be provided.

Don’t forget your camera, an easy going attitude and your biggest smile and, of course, your sense of adventure!
